New Venture

I have been busy getting ready to have a consignment sale and I have not had time to write. I had a great weekend. I worked at my other Job Hancock Fabric and it has been a learning experience. My poor dog probably has been wondering were I am all the time. I take him walking when I can. He gets so excited.

Volunteer/Job

I have been doing so much since I last posted, I have started working a part time job, which I need the money for Christmas. Also, I am a Volunteer for Big Sisters Big Brothers, my Little is 10 years old and seems to be a very sweet girl, I took her to church yesterday and over to my house, she loved my dog which is a Lab. I also took her to the store she wanted some snacks. She has ab out 5 sisters and brothers and they are all in foster care. I have been off work since Thursday, I took a couple of vacation days to rest.

I have aways admired women who are doing it for themselves. They could be married or single. We as woman have a lot on out plate, we take of the children, home, bills, jobs and everything in between.

I am presently looking for books about women doing it for themselves. This has been a interesting journey.

Taking care of ourselves

We need to take better care of ourselves. We take care of everyone except ourselves, our homes, children, husbands, jobs and pets.. We do not take care of our personal needs, health, and minds. I usually try to do something for myself once or twice a month. Pedicure, manicure, spa or just doing somthing I like to do.
